Visit of Brayan Arboleda

This July, our scholar Brayan Arboleda from EAFIT Colombia has visited Switzerland as an exchange student and met representatives of the foundation. With Christian he went for a stroll around the city of Berne, and with Ricardo and Isabel, he spent an exceptional day out in Zurich during the Züri Fäscht. His dream being setting up his own fashion brand, he especially enjoyed visiting the fancy and exclusive shops at Bahnhofstrasse – a true mind opener. But all of Switzerland seemed like a fairy tale: the lively towns, the stunning views of the alps, the relaxed party atmosphere, the sunny weather, and last but not least, the impressive art at the Kunstmuseum.

Brayan had been invited by his university to join a group of students of EAFIT to participate in an exchange program with Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. He was awarded the participation because of his outstanding achievements as a leader within and for EAFIT.

The goal of the exchange program "Summer School EAFIT Colombia – FHNW Switzerland: Entrepreneurship in a cross-cultural context" was to offer participants a deep dive into the world of entrepreneurship by developing projects and business ideas from all fields of study, attending courses, visiting different organizations, discovering local culture and expand relevant networks with people from Colombia and Switzerland.

Brayan used his free days to meet Christian, Ricardo and Isabel. As he currently serves as a student employee in our Alumni Organization CESE in Medellin, getting to know each other was very welcome opportunity.
