In August of this year, Michelle Castro assumed her role as the new Executive Secretary of the Local Committee of Fundación Educación, Guatemala Chapter. It is with great pleasure that we can inform you that from the first day of transition she assumed this position with great energy and enthusiasm, thus becoming an excellent successor to Cristina Novales.
In addition, we are very pleased to announce that Cristina, after having organized and facilitated the transition process from her to Michelle, has decided to remain on the Guatemala Local Committee. In her new role, she will support the Local Committee on issues related to the local "Fund Raising" and the "Compromiso de Honor". We are very grateful that Cristina remains an integral part of our "Gran Familia Fundación Educación" - having contributed substantially to the Guatemala Chapter for more than 15 years!
In that sense, we wish Michelle and Cristina much more success and satisfaction in their respective tasks and we are convinced that with this excellent team we will continue to strengthen the Guatemala Chapter!
